While reading Unlimited Power by Anthony Robbins, there’s a passage were he mentions that milk isn’t good for human health because the milk isn’t produced in order to be drank by human but by baby cows. Furthermore, milk is good at creating mucus which slows down your stomach ability to absorb nutrients.
I decided I’d try a week of experiment and here are my results.
Day 1: No milk is really weird. No cereals, no Quik (chocolate milk). No more icecream too.
Day 2-5: Not drinking milk is really hard not to do. But I’m still progressing.
Day 6-7: I’m not seeing any results. I do believe that I’d need more time in order for the organism to start clearing himself up but 7 days is quite a long time. I should also add that meanwhile I’ve been eating whole grains toasts which helped to clear up the stomach but yet, no results. I assume that drinking milk or not as no effect whatsoever on the digestion.
Day 8: I come back to the old routine of drinking milk and eating cereals in the morning.
As you can see, my conclusion is that milk doesn’t affect ME. It is mentionned in the book that there’s a percentage of the population who has no trouble digesting those proteins. I am aware that this experiment might have taken place much more longer but I decided to end it due to a large part of my alimentation revolving around milk products. I’d be glad to hear about people who have abandonned milk and saw great results after.
